A: 100% NOT true. Some high schools teach basic economics, but this is not a personal finance class – rather a class on the basics of government finances, GDP, imports/exports, etc. Most people agree that things like balancing your bank account, doing taxes and applying for mortgages SHOULD be taught in school, but at this time, public schools do not teach these things.

A: 100％違うわ。高校で経済の基本を教えるところはあるけれど、個人の資産の授業ではないわ。政府の財政、GDP、輸出入などの授業よ。銀行の口座残高や、税金の支払い、住宅ローンの申し込みのようなことを学校で教えた方がいいということについて、ほとんどの人が賛成すると思うけど、現時点で、公立高校ではそういったことを教えていないわ。
