Q: Could you tell me which Olympic sports you and your son are interested in?
A: We are really enjoying the new sports! We have watched the men’s and women’s street skate, and are looking forward to watching the park competitions as well.
We have also watched the mountain bike race, and the BMX freestyle competitions. These were much more exciting than I expected!
I always enjoy the gymnastics competitions, and there have been some really strong athletes in those this year as well.
I’ve been impressed with the way the athletes are cheering for and supporting each other, since there is no crowd to cheer. It seems to me that there is more of a sense of camaraderie than there usually is at these events.
