Q: Could you give some advice to people who are learning English, based on your experience of learning another language?
A: Every language is different, and the study methods that work for one will not necessarily work for another. Also, the study methods will be different depending on whether or not your native language is related to the one you are trying to learn. And of course, each student has a different way of learning.
I can say that if you find you are a visual learner, things like flashcards and early reader style books should work well for you. If you are an audio learner, try podcasts, music in the language you are learning or even TV shows. Whatever your learning style, and whatever language you want to learn, it’s important to remember that there is no magic trick that will help you learn the language. You have to put in the work in order to get the results!
