Tanabata is a Japanese festival celebrated on July 7th.
Orihime and Hikoboshi are allowed to meet only once a year, on Tanabata, at the Milky Way.
People write wishes on colorful paper strips called tanzaku.
These strips are then hung on bamboo branches.
It’s a time of joy and hope for dreams to come true.
