Q:What was your major in college? Why did you choose that major?
A:My original major was Radio/Television. I wanted to be a cinematographer, but my local school didn’t offer those courses, so I took the most closely related courses with a plan to transfer to a major university later on.
In the television courses we learned about lighting, green screen effects, and sound. I also ended up doing a lot of theater production courses, where we built sets for the school’s stage plays. My favorite thing was doing radio. I got to be on the air each day for a little over an hour, and was even invited by my teacher to work at her radio station as a news intern. Being a DJ is lots of fun!
