Q: When will the US start the booster shots for covid-19?
They already have, for a limited group of people. Those who are immunocompromised have already had a 3rd shot. People over 65 and people in high risk jobs (medical field, restaurant and delivery staff, grocery store staff) have also been approved to receive a booster.
As for other people, there is no plan to give booster shots. The CDC says that it is not necessary for healthy adults to have a booster at this time, but many government officials disagree. We will have to wait and see what the science tells us in the future!
