I was especially surprised that the doctor didn’t contact me, but my company, with the results!
It seems it’s considered quite normal here for companies to access your medical records.
I would be afraid that, if I got cancer or something serious, they would fire me if they knew.
I don’t know if that happens here, but I can imagine it might.

会社が医療に関する記録にアクセスできることは普通だと考えられているようだ。
もし私ががんや深刻な病気になり、それを会社が知ったら解雇されないかと心配になる。
ここでそれが起こるかはわからないが、そうなることが想像できる。
